Award Winning Sustainability:

Green Projects

Ryerson Woods, Deerfield, IL

This 10,000 sq. ft LEED Platinum building was built sustainably for Lake County Forest Preserve District, complete with a welcome center and environment education facility. The building includes a geothermal system, rainwater reclamation and components to ensure optimization of energy performance for sustainable maintenance.

Education Projects

Waukegan Elementary Schools, Waukegan, IL

This project comprises of 72,000 sq. ft and 8 different schools. Labor consisted of over 50% local participation and 25% minority participation. The scope included additions and renovations of all the schools, including site work and playgrounds. It was completed on a very short summer schedule.

Historic Renovation

Grayslake Metra Lake Street, Grayslake, IL

This Historic renovation of Grayslake Lake Street Metra Station was created to bring back 1900’s charm. Measuring 1,000 sq. ft, the project included a platform and accessibility upgrade.

Big & Bold Banking

First Midwest Bank, Gurnee, IL

This 30,000 sq. ft bank included the addition of a 3 story corporate headquarters.

Parks and Recreation

Lake County Fairgrounds, Libertyville, IL

This 65,000 sq. ft project was a Design build project of 40 acres of fair Ground property. The project included site infrastructure, an exposition hall, meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms, restrooms, ticketing buildings and offices.

Grayslake Fire Station No. 2, Grayslake, IL

This fire station project included sleeping quarters, 3 apparatus bays, a dispatch center, offices, a gym, a kitchen, and a burn training tower.

It's What's on the Inside that Counts: Infrastructure

IDOT Washington, Gurnee IL

This 10,000 sq. ft Lester Pre-Engineered wood framed maintenance building included seven service bays and a complete site rework.

Pre-Engineered Metal: 


Kenosha Hanger, Kenosha WI

This airplane hanger in Kenosha, Wisconsin measures 60,000 square feet and is constructed using Butler Pre-engineered metal.   

Beautiful Places of Worship: Religious Projects

Joyful Harvest, Johnsburg, IL

This 12,000 sq ft church facility was constructed with classrooms and worship center, administrative offices and unfinished storage.

Stimulating Minds:

Higher Education

Cary Grove High School, Cary IL

This project saw the addition of a new classroom to the high school as well as a brand new remodeled library in 1999. 

One of our Specialties: Wastewater Treatment

Elmhurst Public Works, Elmhurst IL

The Elmhurst Public Works Wastewater treatment plant was completed in 1998 and treats 20 million gallons per day, including sanitary water pumping stations and storm water pumping stations.
