Meet the Team
Robert Boller, Founder & CEO
Robert Boller founded Boller Construction in 1978, after growing up in construction working for his father’s company, Jenkins & Boller. Under Robert’s leadership, Boller Construction has grown into the go to education structure contractor in the State of Illinois, along with many services and specialties, including Waste Water Facilities as well. Robert is a leader in the construction industry, serving as president of Lake County Contractors Association in 1990-1991 and was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 1996.
As CEO of Boller, Robert is responsible for the overall business strategy and standards that effect customers, consultants, trade contractors and employees.
Josh Boller, President
Josh joined Boller Construction after graduating from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. “I have worked at Boller my whole life…I used to come to work with my father. In the summers I would work out on the jobsites. These experiences really taught me an enormous amount of information about the business which helped me to prepare for where I am now.” Since then, Josh has worked his way up from Estimating, then to Project Management, then to becoming President of Boller Construction.
As President, Josh oversees the day to day functions of the company and steers the company to meet the goals set forth by the Board of Directors. Josh serves on the Board of Governors and Board of Directors for the Lake County Contractors Association, as well as the Fox Valley Cement Masons Board of Trustees for the Health and Welfare, and the Lake County Cement Masons Board of Trustees for Pension. With Josh’s leadership, expertise, forward-thinking ideas, and ethical approach, Boller Construction is posed to continue its excellence in strong relationships with its customers and history of providing quality construction.
Steve Dalbec, Vice President
Steve joined Boller Construction in 2012 and has Forty-four years of professional construction experience, with a particular emphasis in water and waste water treatment projects in the Chicagoland area. This experience has led to completion of over 1000 water and wastewater treatment facilities with 75 of those projects being design-build. He is also experienced in complex projects including power generation and co-generation projects.
